FAQ's
1. Do you have an office that I will come to?
No. All sessions are done online.
2. How are online sessions held?
All sessions are held on Zoom, where you can see the therapist and the therapist can see you.
3. How long is each session?
Each session is one hour. Longer sessions are available but this is on as needed-basis)
4. How will I know when my appointment is?
Your appointment will be at a set day and time as agreed upon with your therapist. You will receive an email and a text with the link to your Zoom session the day before your session.
5. How will I be billed?
Invoices are sent the day of or the day following your session. Payment is required the day of your session but no longer than 3 days afterwards (If you need special payment arrangements, you can bring this up with Elizabeth or Pamels. We will work with you as much as possible) within 3 days of the date of your invoice.
6. How do I pay for my sessions?
You can make your payment several ways:
a) through Zelle. Check with your bank about setting up a Zelle account.
b) through PayPal. You must set up a PayPal account to pay in this manner.
7. Where do I find the information to make my payment? Your invoice has the information for Zelle and PayPal payments.
8. Do you bill my insurance for my sessions?
No. Therapy is out-of-pocket only.
9. Is it possible to reschedule my session?
Yes, you will contact the office manager to make any changes regarding your session.
10. Am I charged if I miss a session for some reason?
No. You will not be charged. You can reschedule or wait until your next regular session.
11. If I have a major issue and need to see the therapist again during the week, what do I do?
Contact the office manager or your therapist in the event of a crisis. We will work you in as quickly as possible.
12. Can anyone be with me during my sessions?
Generally, you are the one the sessions are for. It is preferred that you are the only one in your session unless you and your partner are seeing the therapist together. However, a minor must have a parent in attendance for each session.
