The holidays are often a very sad and/or an aggravating period of time for so many people. We do all of this buying, preparing and sharing for several weeks every year. Money and finances seem to be thrown out of the window in order to get certain things for our loved ones. It is not like a birthday, because that is generally only celebrated for one person at a time. As much as we know in our gut that we don’t have to spend as much as we want to spend each year, we also have guilt and emotions that speak for our actions.
